So, a little bit about me

My name is Ruth, I come from an ordinary working class family. My father came from Liverpool and grew up in tenements, my mother from sunny Southport. They met, married and eventually moved to a nice semi-rural area on the outskirts of Southport. My father was always a hard worker and a creative problem solver. From his work ethic and determination to always be on the winning side, I probably got my natural drive and tremendous determination. I was brought up that you must work really hard to have money. There was no pocket money in my parents' house; everything I wanted I had to work for myself.

Before I was old enough to be employed, I offered my cleaning services to my mother and got some money for it. I hated it, but I did it to get ahead. As soon as I was old enough to work a 60-hour week at the local farm for £2.65 an hour, I was in. As you can see, I was taught from a young age: work hard and get paid. But that was about it. That was all I was taught. That's all most people are taught about life, work and money, isn't it?

What if there was another way?

Well if you're a stylist, then you are in a perfect position to be able to work less and earn more money. Even in the current climate. How do I know this? Well quite simply, because I've done it and now I want to share what I have learned with you and successfully put it into practice.

I've first compiled my knowledge into my E-Book The 5 Figure Stylist to give you an initial handbook where you'll find everything you need to get off to a successful start as a self-employed person. With this I succeeded in providing a first little help for start-ups, but it was not enough for me. There had to be more to become a high earning freelancer with the time to enjoy that money too. And so I started to work on the concept of The Freelance Suite App, giving you the perfect tool to achieve all your goals in a relaxed way and finally earn what you deserve!
